OSHA COLORS for Engraved and Printed Signs
The following are standard colors dictated by OSHA 1910.45. You are expected to know and conform to these specifications for hazardous conditions. If you have any questions concerning the use of these colors and your engraved signs please do not hesitate to give us a call at (800)298-0400
DANGER = RED - Indicates a hazardous situation which has a high probability of death or severe injury. Should not be used for property damage unless personal injury or risk is present.
WARNING = ORANGE - Indicates a hazardous situation which has some probability of death or serious injury. Should not be used for property damage unless personal injury risk is present.
CAUTION = YELLOW - Indicates a hazardous situation which may cause minor or moderate injury. Should not be used for property damage unless personal injury risk is present.
NOTICE = BLUE - Indicates a statement of company policy relating to the safety of personnel or protection of property. NOTICE must not be associate directly with a hazard or used in place of CAUTION, WARNING, or DANGER
GENERAL SAFETY = GREEN - Indicates instructions of a general nature relative to safe work practices, proper safety procedures, and safety equipment location.
